Umpire's Level 1A Course in full swing at Heathcote C.C.Like many organisations DACO relies heavily on volunteers to help the administration, to provide education for new umpires and scorers as they start their new hobby and to support existing umpires and scorers who aspire to go further.
Devon is split into four districts (or areas), North, South, East and West. Most activities are conducted locally in these areas but some matters are conducted on a county-wide basis. Each area has its own organisation and meet regularly to discuss officiating matters. The four areas are brought together at the DACO Management Committee, which is the authorised body for administering the Association.
