Sir Viv to spend evening with Paignton
 

WEST Indies Test match legend Viv Richards will be the guest of honour at a dinner organised by Paignton CC.

Sir Viv, who made more then 8,000 Test match runs and 50,000-plus in his professional career, will be spending the evening with diners at the Riviera International Centre in Torquay on Saturday, September 10.

Other guests are ex-Australian fast bowler Rodney Hogg – now a cricket writer and broadcaster – and MC Justin Karcher.

The venue is just a six-hit away from Torquay Recreation Ground, where Sir Viv smashed 98 for the West Indies playing against the Minor Counrties there in 1976.
