WOODBURY CC are pleased to announce that Woodbury Parish Council has granted the club a new 20-year lease for their Town Lane ground (pictured above).
This will enable the club to continue to provide cricket in the community for all ages.
Preparation for the new season starts at 9am this Saturday (February 4) at Exmouth Community College with an indoor nets session for adults and senior colts.
Further session dates and start times are posted on the club website. Sessions will run up to and including April 14.
Club nights will continue to be run at the ground on Wednesdays, led by ECB club coach Liam Cook, from April 11. The club invites any new players wishing to take part to come along to these sessions.
This season Woodbury’s Saturday team will be in the F Division of the Devon League.
The club will also be running a number of friendly matches on Sundays and also have midweek games.

During the winter the old artificial wicket has been replaced. The practice net is in the process of being upgraded and there are further plans to improve both the playing and social facilities at the club.
The club’s youth section will again be running colts evenings for U13s and below. The first Colts evening will be on Friday, April 21.
This Season the Colts will be represented in the EDYL at U10 Soft ball pairs, U11 hard ball pairs and at U13’s and will enter teams in both U12 and U13 Cup competitions.
Woodbury CC annual meeting will take place in the White Hart pub in the village on February 22 (7.30pm).
